After appearing on a variety of mixtapes and albums for other artists, rapper Plies is finally revealing the details of his anticipated debut album The Real Testament, which will be released on Atlantic Records later this summer on August 7.
Plies' popular track "Shawty" featuring T-Pain has broken into rotation on radio station's across the country and has even penetrated the ringtone market with over 7,500 ringtone sales.
AllHipHop.com will be the first to premiere the companion clip to Plies' video for "Shawty" featuring T-Pain on Monday, May 28.
As promotion for his debut album, Plies will host "The Real Testament Featured Verse" contest on his website www.pliesworld.com.
Contestants can register online until June 15 and submit a verse to Plies' song "Ain't Slippin" produced by DJ Nasty.
Contestants will be chosen on the basis of creativity, originality, and aesthetic value.
The winner of Plies' contest will have their verse featured on The Real Testament when the album drops on Aug. 7.
