| Miami Rapper Dirtbag Inks Deal With Slip N Slide, Planning 'Dirty Business' By Mike Winslow Date: 5/18/2007 Acclaimed Miami, FL rapper Dirtbag has inked a deal with Ted Lucas' Slip N Slide Records and is planning a new album for a fall release.Dirtbag, who was signed to Jive Records via a deal with Cool and Dre's Epidemic Records imprint, is preparing a new album for Slip N Slide which is due in stores in October, titled Dirty Business. "My staff and myself feel extremely confident and sure of an abundance of not only success but also longevity within the Dirtbag project," Slip N Slide's CEO Ted Lucas said. Dirty Business will feature production from Cool and Dre, Gorrilla Tek, Jim Jonsin and others. The album will be rounded out with a variety of guest appearances, including cameos from Rock Ross, Trina, Plies and Three 6 Mafia. The first single from the album is titled "I Aint Trying To Hear It" featuring Monica. "There's no time to celebrate," Dirtbag said. "We can celebrate when I go platinum. I feel like Terrell Owens right now getting signed to this team. I got to make some things happen."Dirtbag, also known as "the don of dade," was signed to Jive via a deal with Cool and Dre's Epidemic Records imprint. "Signing Dirtbag was a no brainer, he's a equipped music mastermind and with us running the south with the hottest roster he just going to add more flames," added Slip N Slide 's Vice President of A&R, Jullian Boothe.
