West coast veteran Kam is preparing a new album titled Self & Kind, which will feature guest appearances from some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop.
The politically charged Kam made his debut on the classic single "Every Single Weekend," taken from Boyz-N-the-Hood soundtrack.
He was also once signed to his Lench Mob Records, an independent label owned by his cousin, Ice Cube.
According to representatives for Kam, Self & Kind will feature guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, The Game, Akon, Tyrese and others.
Production on the album is handled by West coast super producers Dr. Dre, DJ Pooh, Sirx Jinx and Battlecat.
Kam was originally affiliated with Ice Cube's Lynch Mob collective.
He released three albums: Neva Again (1993), Made in America (1995) and Kamnesia (2001).
He's affiliated with a new group of rappers assembled by Snoop Dogg named The Warzone, which also features group members Goldie Loc and M.C. Eiht.
Kam recently released a new single titled Dirty West, which features his brother, Yung Bruh.
