Date: 5/18/2007

Acclaimed Miami,
FL rapper Dirtbag has inked a deal with Ted Lucas' Slip N Slide Records and is
planning a new album for a fall release.
Dirtbag,
who was signed to Jive Records via a deal with Cool and Dre's Epidemic Records
imprint, is preparing a new album for Slip N Slide which is due in stores in October,
titled Dirty Business.
"My
staff and myself feel extremely confident and sure of an abundance of not only
success but also longevity within the Dirtbag project," Slip N Slide's CEO
Ted Lucas said.
Dirty
Business
will feature production from Cool and Dre, Gorrilla Tek, Jim Jonsin
and others.
The
album will be rounded out with a variety of guest appearances, including cameos
from Rock Ross, Trina, Plies and Three 6 Mafia.
The
first single from the album is titled "I Aint Trying To Hear It" featuring
Monica.
"There's
no time to celebrate," Dirtbag said. "We can celebrate when I go platinum.
I feel like Terrell Owens right now getting signed to this team. I got to make
some things happen."
Dirtbag,
also known as "the don of dade," was signed to Jive via a deal with
Cool and Dre's Epidemic Records imprint.
"Signing
Dirtbag was a no brainer, he's a equipped music mastermind and with us running
the south with the hottest roster he just going to add more flames," added
Slip N Slide 's Vice President of A&R, Jullian Boothe.
Dirtbag's
Dirty Business is slated to hit stores Oct. 9.
